SpecChem’s Concrete Finishing System
SpecChem’s Concrete Finishing System is a two-step process designed to enhance the durability, density, and long-term performance of concrete slabs while simplifying finishing and maintenance.
This system enables you to:
- Consolidate the surface cap to produce a denser, less permeable concrete slab.
- Improve abrasion resistance and wear characteristics comparable to trap rock or traditional dry-shake hardeners.
- Enhance and protect both natural gray and integrally colored concrete surfaces.
- Reduce long-term maintenance costs and extend the service life of the slab.
Apply Intrafilm during the finishing process to aid in surface consolidation and improve concrete finishing while supporting proper hydration of the concrete surface. This helps produce a tighter, more refined surface.
Use LithSealSC, a lithium silicate densifier to strengthen the concrete matrix. This reaction increases surface hardness and abrasion resistance while improving overall durability.
Together, Intrafilm and LithSeal SC create a system that enhances concrete performance, producing a harder, more durable floor with improved long-term protection.

IntraFilm is an advanced colloidal silica concrete finishing aid that enhances the finishing process of concrete surfaces and extends workability under challenging conditions such as extreme temperatures, wind, or low humidity. IntraFilm is engineered to facilitate a smoother, more efficient finishing process, and to improve the durability and lower the maintenance needs of concrete slabs by reacting during the concrete’s hydration phase.

LithSeal SC is a premium lithium silicate sealer/ densifier/hardener for concrete surfaces. LithSeal SC deeply penetrates and reacts with cured concrete. This reaction produces a calcium silicate hydrate within the concrete pores. Treated surfaces will remain breathable reduce porosity, reduce dusting, reduce water permeability and increase abrasion resistance. When properly applied, LithSeal SC will not leave the whitish blush characteristic of other sodium silicate products.
