Surface Shine HS
Surface Shine HS is a durable, high-gloss acrylic sealer that enhances and protects concrete surfaces while resisting yellowing, abrasion, and chemical impacts.
Surface Shine HS is a clear, high solids, high gloss, nonyellowing acrylic polymer engineered as a cure and seal specifically for exterior surfaces such as exposed aggregate, natural stone, brick, quarry tile, terrazzo, and other concrete surfaces. It is also suitable for interior applications. This non-yellowing, durable sealer enhances the appearance of all treated surfaces with a high gloss sheen.

Application
Surface Preparation: The concrete surface must be clean and devoid of any standing water. Any existing sealer or other materials that might inhibit the adhesion of Surface Shine HS should be removed.
Application Instructions:
- For Fresh Concrete: Apply uniformly by spraying or rolling at 350-400 sq ft per gallon. The product can be applied using a handheld pump-up sprayer or an airless industrial sprayer. For roller application, use a short-nap solvent-resistant sleeve to prevent air bubbles. For an extra high gloss or on porous surfaces, a second thin application may be applied the following day at 400 sq ft per gallon. Two thin coats generally yield a better gloss than one thick coat.
- For Existing Concrete: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of stains, oil, grease, dirt, and incompatible coatings before application.
Packaging
Packaging: Available in 55-gallon drums and 5-gallon pails.
Shelf Life
Surface Shine HS has a shelf life of two years from the date of manufacture, in its original, tightly closed containers. Avoid contamination with water, dirt, or other foreign substances.

- Concrete: 200 – 400 sq ft per gallon
- Exposed aggregate: 200 – 300 sq ft per gallon
- Brick, stucco, etc.: 200 – 300 sq ft per gallon
Standards
Standards Compliance:
- Meets ASTM C-1315-95, Type I
- V.O.C. Content: Less than 700 g/L
- Complies with Federal V.O.C. standards for curing and sealing compounds. Do not dilute or thin the product.
Cleaning
Application equipment should be cleaned immediately using xylene or another approved solvent.
