Application

  • Substrate Preparation:
    • Ensure concrete is at least 28 days old and fully cured.
    • Clean holes thoroughly to remove debris and dampen with water.
    • Use appropriate flat washers for bolt size.
  • Mixing Instructions:
    • Interior Applications: Add 1/2 quart of clean potable water per 5 lbs. of Rapid Rock and mix to a smooth, flowable consistency.
    • For smaller batches, use 3.2 oz. of water per 1 lb. of Rapid Rock.
    • Adjust water to achieve desired consistency for plastic applications.
  • Application Process:
    • Pour Rapid Rock around the bolt or anchor, slightly above substrate level.
    • For exterior applications in standing water conditions, protect the material using one of two options:
      • Cone the top surface around the anchor to prevent water pooling.
      • Seal the application with an exterior-rated sealer 7 days post-installation.

Shelf Life

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
  • Keep the package tightly sealed when not in use.
  • Shelf life is 12 months when properly stored. Rotate stock regularly.

  • Repairing cracks and voids in concrete floors, walls, and foundations.

Cleaning

  • Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use.
  • Hardened material must be removed mechanically.
