Application

  • Surface Preparation: The concrete surface must be clean and devoid of any materials that could hinder the adhesion of Crystal Shine, including existing sealers or standing water.
  • Application on Fresh Concrete: For optimal coverage, Crystal Shine should be applied via spray between 250-350 square feet per gallon. A hand-held pump-up sprayer or an airless industrial sprayer is recommended. Roller application is possible with a short nap, solvent-resistant sleeve; however, ensure to avoid creating air bubbles.
  • For Enhanced Gloss: On porous surfaces or when a higher gloss finish is desired, apply an additional coat at 400 square feet per gallon after the first coat has dried for 1-3 hours and is touch-dry.
