25% solids water-based cure & seal

Cure & Seal WB 25 is a high-solids, water-based, non-yellowing, VOC-compliant acrylic polymer designed to cure, seal, harden, and dustproof both freshly placed and aged concrete surfaces. This product is suitable for both interior and exterior applications and may contribute to LEED credits.

  • Creates a tough, glossy film resistant to abrasion and common stains.
  • Prevents adhesion of cementitious droppings and penetration of most oils and greases.
  • Reduces maintenance and cleanup costs, brightening floors.
  • Allows for recoating at any time without the need to strip the previous application, enhancing concrete’s resistance to de-icing salts.

Application

  • Ready to use without dilution. Recommended application tools include a sprayer, brush, roller, or microfiber applicator for best results.
  • Avoid creating puddles and apply according to the recommended coverage rates.
  • Application temperature should be above 40°F and rising.

Concrete Conditions:

  • New Concrete: Apply after the surface water has evaporated without damaging the concrete surface. A second coat enhances finish and protection.
  • Existing Concrete: Ensure the surface is clean and free from stains, oil, grease, dirt, and incompatible coatings before application.

Packaging

Available in 275-gallon totes, 55-gallon drums, and 5-gallon pails.

Shelf Life

One-year shelf life in original, tightly closed containers. Protect from freezing and contamination.

Coverage

  • Curing: 300 sq ft/gal
  • Dustproofing and Sealing: 300-500 sq ft/gal for new concrete and 400-600 sq ft/gal for aged concrete.

Standards

  • Meets ASTM C-309, Type I, Class A & B, and ASTM 1315, Type 1, Class A standards. Complies with VOC emissions requirements, with an actual VOC content of 98 g/L.
  • Meets SCAQMD VOC requirements and is USDA accepted.

Cleaning

Clean application equipment with water before the product dries; use xylene or other approved solvents for dried product.
