Oil-stain resistant penetrating concrete protectant

All Shield EX is an exempt solvent, low VOC, synthetic-modified, silane-siloxane concrete protectant. This clear, penetrating, breathable protectant is designed for use on interior/exterior, horizontal/vertical concrete, natural or synthetic stone surfaces to resist oil, water, food stains, and many other liquid contaminants.

All Shield EX penetrates the surface and bonds directly with the substrate, which results in a surface that is highly resistant to moisture, staining, and deicing salts.

Application

Designed for a wide range of surfaces including commercial and industrial floors, automotive service areas, pavements, driveways, brick and concrete pavers, parking structures, bridges, and marine platforms, All Shield EX delivers robust protection against the damaging effects of de-icing salts, moisture, and environmental wear.

Application Instructions: For optimal results, All Shield EX should be applied using a low-pressure (<50 psi) sprayer, ensuring adequate ventilation and respiratory protection. Coverage rates vary based on surface porosity, ranging from 150-200 sq ft/gal on porous surfaces to 800-1200 sq ft/gal on dense or polished concrete. It’s essential to prepare new concrete surfaces by ensuring they are dry and well-cured (minimum 21 days) and free of moisture, curing residues, and contaminants. Always conduct a small test area to verify compatibility and desired performance.

Packaging

Available in 55-gallon drums, 5-gallon pails, and 1-gallon cans (6 per case).

Cleaning

Prompt cleaning of spills and contaminants is recommended. Avoid using strong solvents or oil-based cleaners. For stubborn stains, a diluted solution of SpecChem Orange Peel or Berry Clean with water (1:3 ratio) can be used, followed by thorough rinsing with clean water. Reapplication of All Shield EX may be necessary after extensive or aggressive cleaning if water penetration becomes noticeable.
