Por-Rok
Premium gypsum based anchoring cement
POR-ROK® Anchoring Cement is used in the anchoring of heavy machinery, railings, guard rails, banisters, repairing of cracks on damaged concrete substrate. It is a non-shrink, hydraulic, controlled expansion cement in a ready to use preparation. Water is added at the job site to provide a pourable, durable anchoring or patching compound.
POR-ROK® Anchoring Cement has almost unlimited field applications.
- Easy application for anchoring and patching.
- Expands as it sets & hardens in 20-30 minutes.
- Achieves higher strength than concrete within an hour.
- Contains no alkalinity, preventing rust on metal.
- Meets ASTM C-1107 standards

Application
Substrate Preparation
- Ensure concrete is at least 28 days old and fully cured.
- Clean the hole thoroughly, removing all particles and debris.
- Water-scrub sides and bottom, then remove excess water to keep the hole uniformly damp.
Mixing and Application
- For interior use: Mix 16 oz. of water per 5 pounds of POR-ROK® to achieve a smooth, flowable consistency. Adjust water slightly for a more plastic-like consistency if needed.
- For exterior use: Apply regular POR-ROK® or Super Por-Rok® in environments with excessive water. Protect against water damage by shaping the material around the anchor to prevent water pooling.
Anchoring
- Use an appropriate washer and insert the bolt with the head down.
- After setting, options include topping with a cone of POR-ROK® or sealing with a rated exterior sealer after 7 days to ensure protection.
