SpecPoxy 3000 FS

SpecPoxy 3000 FS is a two-component, moisture insensitive, high modulus, structural epoxy bonding gel. This product is 100% solids, solvent-free, low odor, high strength, and non-sag, making it ideal for various structural bonding and patching applications.

  • Fast-setting with a gel time of only 10 minutes.
  • Can be used for both vertical and overhead applications due to its gel/paste viscosity.
  • ASTM 881 compliant for high-modulus applications.
  • Ideal for environments requiring quick turnaround times.

Shelf Life

Store SpecPoxy 3000 FS in its original containers and keep tightly closed. Do not allow the accumulation of water, dirt or other contaminants. The shelf life of properly stored SpecPoxy 3000 FS is two years from date of manufacture

Standards

  • SpecPoxy 3000 FS meets ASTM C881 & AASHTO M235, Type I, II, IV, and V Grade 3, Classes B & C.
  • Anchoring bolts, dowels, and reinforcing steel.
  • Vertical and overhead structural bonding and patching.
  • Sealing of cracks and setting of injection ports.
  • Applicable to concrete, block, brick, or stone.
  • VOC Content = 0 grams per liter, highlighting its environmental safety.

Mixing Instructions

  • Mix equal volumes of Part A and Part B for three minutes using a low-speed drill.
  • Ensure air, material, and surface temperatures are above 40°F (4°C) before mixing.

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean, dry, and structurally sound.
  • Remove all contaminants by sandblasting, mechanical abrasion, or hydroblasting.
  • Ensure drilled holes are cleaned out with a nylon brush and oil-free compressed air.

Application Techniques

  • Bonding: Apply SpecPoxy 3000 FS neatly into the substrate and ensure the glue line does not exceed 1/8”.
  • Anchoring: For anchoring applications, prepare the holes and insert the bolts or dowels while the epoxy is still tacky.
