Shelf Life

Store SpecPoxy 3000 in its original containers and keep tightly closed. Do not allow the accumulation of water, dirt or other contaminants. The shelf life of properly stored SpecPoxy 3000 is two years from date of manufacture.

Standards

  • SpecPoxy 3000 meets ASTM C881 & AASHTO M 235, Type I, II, IV, and V Grade 3, Class B & C.
  • Anchoring bolts, dowels, and reinforcing steel.
  • Vertical and overhead structural bonding and patching.
  • Sealing cracks and setting injection ports.
  • Suitable for use in concrete, block, brick, or stone.

Mixing Instructions

  • Mix equal volumes of Part A and Part B for three minutes using a low-speed drill.
  • Air, material, and surface temperatures must be at least 60°F prior to mixing and installation.

Surface Preparation

  • Surfaces must be clean and structurally sound.
  • Remove contaminants by sandblasting, mechanical abrasion, or hydroblasting.
  • Ensure drilled holes are prepared by brushing and blowing out with oil-free compressed air.

Application Techniques

  • Bonding: Apply SpecPoxy 3000 neatly into the substrate and ensure the glue line does not exceed 1/8″.
  • Anchoring: For anchoring applications, ensure holes are drilled to the appropriate depth and diameter, and filled from the bottom up to avoid air pockets.
