Super Por-Rok
Premium cement based anchoring cement
Super Por-Rok® Anchoring Cement is used for the anchoring of heavy machinery, railings, guard rails, banisters, and in the repair of cracks on damaged concrete substrate. It is a non-shrink, hydraulic, controlled expansion cement in a ready to use preparation. Water is added at the job site to provide a pourable, durable anchoring or patching compound.
Super Por-Rok® Anchoring Cement has almost unlimited field applications.
- No rodding, chaining or vibrating
- Ideal for patching floors, walls, and cracks
- Interior or Exterior use
- Pourable, No heating or two component mixing needed
- Quick setting – Sets in 20-30 minutes
- Expands as it sets; Stronger than concrete in 6 hours;
- Nonmetallic; maintains volume stability over time
Application
Super Por-Rok® is ideal for:
- Anchoring bolts, rods, and banisters.
- Securing guard rails, railings, and signposts.
- Repairing cracks in concrete substrates.
- It can be used in both interior and exterior settings.
Mixing and Application
- Mixing: Combine Super Por-Rok® with clean potable water at 15% by weight to achieve a smooth, flowable consistency. For smaller batches, use 2.3 oz of water per pound of product.
- Placement: Pour the mix around the anchoring bolt or directly into the prepared hole, ensuring it is even with the substrate level. Avoid leaving the material in conditions where water can puddle.
Surface Preparation
- Ensure the concrete is at least 28 days old and fully cured.
- Clean the hole of all debris and dampen the sides and bottom to ensure a dust-free surface.
- Use an appropriate flat washer for the bolt size being anchored.
Application Notes and Limitations
- Do not over-water as it can reduce strength and durability.
- Ensure the fill level is slightly above the surrounding substrate to prevent water pooling.
- Avoid drilling anchor holes within 4 inches of concrete corners or edges.
- Application temperatures should remain above 32°F for 24 hours post-application.
- Use a flat trowel for a smooth surface finish once the material begins to stiffen.
