Final Finish Green Conscious Product

Rapid-hardening, polymer-modified concrete resurfacer

Final Finish is a one-component, rapid-hardening, polymer-modified, concrete resurfacing mortar, designed for smoothing, resurfacing, rubbing, and restoring concrete surfaces. This product combines a long pot life with rapid hardening to minimize waste and labor. It contains no crystalline silica, making it ideal for ultra-fine repairs. Final Finish is highly durable and suitable for all interior and exterior applications on horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces. It can also serve as a skim patch or trowel-down underlayment for light traffic areas up to 1/4 inch.

  • Tilt-up panels
  • Horizontal, vertical, and overhead applications
  • Concrete block
  • Pre-cast concrete
  • Interior and exterior concrete surfaces

Application

Surface Preparation: Ensure the concrete surface is sound and free from all contaminants such as oil, grease, dust, and laitance. Pre-dampen porous or hot/dry substrates to a saturated surface dry (SSD) condition without standing water.

Mixing: Hand mix or use a low-speed drill. Start by adding the recommended water volume to a container, then gradually add the Final Finish powder. Aim for a water ratio of approximately 41% by weight, or about 16 pints (2 gallons) per 40-pound pail. Mix for 2-3 minutes until smooth. Keep the mix covered with a damp cloth to extend pot life to up to 3 hours at 72°F. Avoid overmixing or retempering.

Placement: Apply with a trowel or sponge float, using pressure to work the material into cracks, voids, and honeycombed areas. For thicknesses over 1/4 inch, use Overcrete.

Wall Application: Level low areas and fill voids with SpecPatch or Overcrete before applying Final Finish. Apply a thin coat across the surface, working it in with a sponge float or trowel. A second coat can be applied before the first is fully cured. Avoid extreme weather conditions during application.

Curing: Final Finish cures in 24 hours. Protect it from rain or excessive moisture until fully cured.
