Rapid-curing, semi-rigid polyurea control joint filler

Rapid Flex 90 is a high-performance, industrial-grade, 100% solids, two-component, UV-resistant, semi-rigid, rapid-curing polyurea designed specifically for filling control and construction joints in heavy-duty industrial concrete floors. This product facilitates quick shaving for rapid turnaround times and adheres to ACI 302, section 4.10 guidelines, boasting a Shore A Durometer of 90. It’s also suitable for repairing damaged joint nosing and filling random cracks. For aesthetic flexibility, Rapid Flex 90 is available in four additional architectural colors.

  • Easy to mix (1:1 ratio) with a pourable/pumpable consistency
  • UV resistant and colorfast with a high elongation (100%) to prevent tearing from movement
  • Semi-rigid flexibility, avoiding slab welding or brittleness over time
  • Ideal hardness (Shore A = 90) for transferring wheel loads while accommodating moderate movement

Application

Primary Uses:

Application Instructions: Ensure joints are clean, dry, and free from foreign substances before application. Follow ACI and PCA guidelines for depth and volume. Rapid Flex 90 should not be used with compressible backer rods and must be applied to a minimum depth of 1 inch.

Mixing and Application:

  • Ensure Rapid Flex 90 is at least 50°F at the time of mixing.
  • Use a 1:1 ratio for mixing with appropriate equipment.
  • Overfill joints, allow to cure, and shave flush for a smooth finish.

Packaging

Available in 22 fl oz cartridges and 10-gallon units.

Shelf Life

Store in original containers at 55-90°F. Shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture.
