Ultra-low viscosity polymer concrete repair binder

Poly Fix® is a high strength, two-component ultra low viscosity hybrid polyurethane concrete repair binder. Poly Fix® can be used to penetrate hairline cracks or mixed with dry sand to patch/ repair concrete spalls or control joints. Poly Fix®’s water-like consistency also makes it an excellent crack healer/sealer for deteriorated concrete surfaces.

Application

Primary Applications:

  • Bridge and Parking Decks
  • Pit Grouting
  • Concrete Crack Healing/Sealing
  • Concrete Subject to Mild Chemical Attack

  • Repairing Spalls and Pop-outs
  • Freezer Floors and Low Temperature Repairs

Application Instructions:

  • Surface Preparation: Ensure the concrete is clean, dry, and free of contaminants. New concrete should be at least 30 days old.
  • Crack Preparation: Use appropriate tools to prepare and clean cracks.
  • Cartridge Mixing: Condition Poly Fix® between 60°F to 80°F, shake well, and use with a dual cartridge gun for application.
  • Bulk Mixing: For larger repairs, mix in small batches due to the rapid setting nature of the product.
  • Placement: For larger repairs, prime the area with Poly Fix®, fill with dry sand, and saturate with Poly Fix® for a complete repair.

Packaging

Available in 22 fl-oz cartridges, quart units, and 2-gallon units.

Shelf Life

Poly Fix® should be stored in its original containers, kept tightly closed, and not exposed to freezing temperatures. Shelf life is 9 months from the date of manufacture.

Cleaning

Use solvents like SpecChem SOLVENT 100 for cleaning uncured Poly Fix® from tools and equipment.
